A face for Europe

On October 29th 2004 Dirk started a new and large LEGO building project : “A Face for Europe”. Together with 80 children form the different European member states, he built a giant LEGO building. The initiative was taken by  Brussels based communications office Morris&Chapman and sponsored by PlasticsEurope.

On November 23rd the project was presented to the European Commission. It involved the 3-dimensional heads of Commission President Barroso and Mr. Borrell, president of the European Parliament, and mosaics of the  24 memmbers of the European Commission, and of course the giant LEGO building.

And Parliament President Mr. Josep Borrell enjoyed the event, as the pictures show.
